Cotton is a natural fibre that requires care: it may shrink slightly (about 3-5%) in the first washes, but if treated delicately it maintains its softness and shape over time.
To make your garment last longer, here are some simple but effective tips:
- Wash it cold, preferably by hand.
If you use a washing machine, set a delicate cycle below 30°C. This is the best way to protect the fibers and maintain the garment's original shape.
For an even more gentle treatment, opt for hand washing : soak the garment for about 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a towel to remove excess water. This way, the natural fibers will remain protected and intact.
- Be careful with the centrifuge.
Avoid excessively high spin speeds: if possible, choose 600 rpm or lower. Even better if you can gently wring it out by hand, perhaps by wrapping it in a towel.
- No dryer.
Intense heat is cotton's worst enemy: it risks shrinking or deforming. Air dry, flat or on a hanger, but always gently.
- Keep your boss in the shade.
Don't let it dry in direct sunlight: in addition to fading the fabric, the heat can alter its fit.
- Little detergent, less fabric softener.
There's no need to overdo it: a light dose is more than enough. The cotton will thank you and stay soft longer.

How to take measurements?
A) Length : Keep the beginning of the tape measure positioned next to the collar,
at the top of the shirt. Extend the tape measure to the bottom of the shirt.
B) Chest width : Lay the garment on a flat surface and measure it from left to right, along the chest, approximately 2 cm below the armpits.
